Finally, a self tanner you can wear

Okay, so my natural skin tone is super pale, and I hate it. I love the summer because I get a little color, but not much. I have tried dozens of self tanning products since I was in middle school. I used to be super streaky because I didn't prepare for my self tanning correctly and I didn't use great products. Now that I'm older, I have learned a lot. I've watched countless YouTube videos about routines and products from beauty blogger. Recently, I started trying these products.

Preparation:
I took a shower and used my dove soap to wash my skin first, so it's at least clean. Then, I used my homemade orange scrub to exfoliate my skin. This helps get rid of the dead skin cells that accumulate. I have super sensitive skin, so I can only use my scrub every couple of showers. But it's orange and it smells so good! Then, I wash my body again because my scrub leaves my skin a tad oily. After I wash my body again, I shave my legs and continue with my shower. When I get out, I lotion my body with my special Emu Oil Lotion (locally made) for sensitive skin. Now, I'm ready to tan!

I didn't want to start with anything permanent to avoid super long lasting ugly streaks, so I got the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs. It comes off in the shower with soap and water, so no more streaks!
When I would self tan, my fingers would be bright orange after! My cuticle, the creases between my fingers, everything. Or, my tan would stop at my wrist and my hands would be super white! Not cute.

SO, I read some amazing reviews about using the tanning mitt. I got it for Christmas from St. Tropez. I got to say, it is awesome. Not only did my hands not get too orange, but i was able to use the mitt to gently put product on my hands so they gradually got whiter, instead of a harsh line. I was able to spray the Sally Hansen right onto the glove which worked better for me than spraying the product onto my skin and rubbing it in. I only did from my waist up, and it looks SO GOOD. I'm tan!!!

Now for my face, my skin is also very sensitive. I lightly exfoliated it while in the shower and then washed it with Neutrogena Oil Free Acne wash. Then, I used the Bonne Bell Gel Bronze for my face. I've read that this is good to use on your face because it is lightweight and not greasy. It's so great! I am tan and it looks amazing(:
